The good weather is finally upon us, not that it mattered to some who flew through winter rain hail or shine, frostbite or otherwise. Some really great models are coming to the field! Some building projects are well underway.
Don't forget to bring your latest efforts to the club meeting! 8pm at the East Geelong Uniting Church hall, Monday 14th 11th. With any luck, we may even see the mold for some Jarts (How bout it Daryl?)

Westcoast Soarers is a radio controlled flying club, based in Geelong, Victoria, Australia
Originally formed as an RC gliding club, these days we have expanded to include electric, slope, thermal, combat and even power.
Primarily we fly modern electric powered aircraft, both commercial and home brewed models. The club has a number of flying sites on private land located around Geelong. Our members get together and fly their planes , often finishing with a BBQ.
When you become a member of Westcoast Soarers you also become a member of the V.M.A.A. This membership covers you for Public Liability Insurance. We try to keep our membership fees and overheads low.
By joining our club you get access to some of the best flying sites around as well as experienced pilots willing to give you a hand. Some of our members have over 25 years experience.
The club also meets one evening a month at the Geelong East Uniting Church, Cnr. Boundary Rd & Ormond Rd, East Geelong.
